Infection ?

My boyfriend and I have been hooking up for around three or four months, about a month or two ago I started having a pain and it turned into what my doctor told me was a yeast infection. Turns out it was actually bv, or somehow turned into it, and got worse because I was on antibiotics. It seemed to calm down and was rarely irritated or itchy and I hate going to the gynecologist repeatedly, so I thought I was fine. I was on a plane ride yesterday and I had this intense pain/irritating sensation, it was so bad I jumped and had an automatic reflex to almost rip my vagina off from it itching so oddly. I know this is REALLY tmi but I’m out of ideas, not even my gynecologist has had any luck fixing it and I haven’t had sex with my boyfriend recently because I thought it would help. Nothing is working :/
