A question for those pregnant with diabetes or GD.
All over Glow, I see posts about people getting several different tests done. NT, blood gender, etc. Your standard tests.
My doctor hasn't performed any of these. When I asked him yesterday, he said I wasn't at risk for the issues they test for. However, I thought the NT was important?! I would like to know if their is fluid...now, I'm passed the time to do it. He said, "Oh, don't worry - you'll be getting a lot of tests down the road."
Why am I exempt from the standardized testing? Apparently, an ultrasound specialize is coming down (not sure when) to look at my baby. He's only talking about tests later in gestation. I want to know what's going on now. What if it's too late?
But seriously, why am I exempt from standardized testing? It makes no sense.
