How do you know if you’re water is leaking?

Obviously without going in, I know they could tell me at the hospital. I know that you can have like a slow leak, from what I understand. 
I keep feeling a little wet, nothing dripping or leaking but I don’t know if it’s the change in discharge as I near labor, or if it’s slowly leaking? 
Also, I had a doctors appointment today and it wasn’t a concern then and she didn’t say anything about it when checking me.

I had a slow leak with my first child. If it is a leak,  it won't stop.  Try walking around for a while,  if you keep feeling fluid coming out it's a leak,  if you don't then it's just discharge.

I've had watery discharge throughout my pregnancy and have gone in a couple times to get it checked and it was just discharge.but I think if it's out of the ordinary for you and your concerned in any way then get checked out to be sure

It could be I was having watery discharge n left wet n went into hospital n it was my water leaking
