Car seat and stroller options?

I am thinking about registering soon and the one thing I am not sure about is what car seat to choose! 
Do a lot fit with strollers or are there better stroller brands to use? 
First time mom and I have no idea what would be best.

This overwhelmed me too especially when I saw the prices of some of these strollers. I believe most are compatible with the car seats on the market but you might have to get an adapter. We ended up going with a new brand of strollers called Mockingbird. They mimic the same structure and features of the more high end strollers like uppababy but it won’t break the bank (uppababy is 900$ to start!). 
The strollers are $350 but you’ll need to buy an adapter for the car seat ($30) and an insert to make it newborn friendly. we actually opted to buy the carriage ($100) accessory for the newborn stage, and the best part is you can use the carriage as a bassinet around the house since it’s detachable. Also, another thing is, the accessories aren’t expensive. Unfortunately they are online based (which is why they can afford to charge the prices they do). I had to go to a baby expo to “test drive” but it was so worth it. Very light weight, safe, practical and attractive! 
As for car seats, we decided to go with a Graco 4 in 1. These adapt to the different stages of baby’s life, and convert into the different type of seat needed. It’s around $250 but you’ll see that most car seats are in this price range anyway so why not go for the one that will save you money in the long run.

I got a Baby trend travel system. Most baby trend car seats should fit in a baby trend stroller. Graco has the normal travel systems then the Click connect ones Click connect car seats only fit click connect strollers. You dont need to go fancy because babies grow fast.

I'm going with the Chicco Bravo travel system. The Chicco Keyfit 30 carseat is top rated for safety and the system isn't crazy overpriced.

I recommend not doing a travel system, instead getting an infant seat and a lightweight frame stroller it will snap into for the infant seat stage, and then getting whatever stroller best suits your needs when they outgrow the infant seat. I had a travel system with my first, and it was convenient when the infant seat snapped into it, but once she outgrew the infant seat I was left with a stroller I didn’t like at all. With my second we just got a frame for the infant seat to snap into and when he outgrew that we got a really nice stroller with the exact features that suited our lifestyle, instead of being “locked in” to whatever came with the travel system. 
Also, as far as car seats go, I think it’s really nice having an infant seat that snaps in and out of the base in the early months. After they outgrow that, I’ve loved the Graco Extend 2 Fit especially since it can do extended rear facing.

First time mom so take with a grain of salt but this is the car seat/stroller combo we registered for.  I’ve been told that the 4-in-1 and 3-in-1 carriers are great past the infant stage but not best for infants since those seats are not as easy to move and carry.  My husband and I both drive regularly too so would be so much easier to have bases in both of our cars vs switching back and forth constantly.

So much to choose from so depends on what you like, only think I would recommend is making sure it both parent-faces as well as outwards.

I bought a peg perago with my last and now I regret it because it cannot convert to a multiples stroller. So advice here only is if you want more kids after this one soon buy something that gives you the long run. We are starting back a square one with strollers and now I am thinking the joovy qool wish I would’ve just gotten it last time

I bought a convertible carseat with my first, but she ended up in NICU and they kept telling us that we needed an infant carrier type carseat so my mom went out and bought one at Target the day before she came home. It is Graco Click Connect. So later when I wanted a stroller I bought a Graco stroller as well. I like it. I know there are more expensive ones out there but I have loved ours so far with my first.
