Hi all, I'm going down my checklist of things to buy for the little one and need a little help. What's the average price for a car seat and which do you recommend?

My car is tiny so I needed a small car seat. Nuna Pipa $299.

We bought a convertible seat as I don't like infant carriers and wanted to be able to spend the money on a few wraps and carriers. I love my Maxi Cosi Pria 70 & Boba wrap. A good seat is going to cost you $100-$300 usually but it's a very worthy investment.

I already have a peg perego stroller  so I'll be getting a PP car seat.      All I can say is test out your system a lot before you buy!!!  I bought an Aprica Tavel system and after my daughter was born hated it !!!! Spent more

I got the baby trend ez loc because it works with my current stroller. It was 102$ including tax on sale from 130.

There are lots of cool ones with different features but personally I'm going with the safest option when it comes to a car seat and Chicco has been rated highest in safety for a while now. Plus they also have lots of options and are very highly rated by parents. I believe their travel systems start at around 200 but if you're going to put the money somewhere put it into your child's car seat!(;
