Do you use the dishwasher?🤔

I only know one person who uses one and that’s my uncle. The rest of my family all use dishwashers as an extra storage place. My family usually put grocery bags both plastic and reusable bags in there.

Is this a cultural thing? I dont know anyone (including myself) who uses their dishwasher for anything but washing dishes.

Uh... i don’t know a single person who uses their dishwasher for extra storage lol. I’m looking at apartments right now because we don’t like ours and if it doesn’t have a dishwasher we’re getting a portable one because I hate hand washing dishes. I also work in appliance sales and people rush in when their dishwasher dies lol.

Heck yes I use the dishwasher. I hate washing dishes, grew up doing it as a daily chore because we didnt have a dishwasher.

If I have one where we live hell yea I use the dishwasher! I’ve never minded hand washing though and there’s still a lot of things I don’t put in the DW but man does it come in handy lol

Only time I’ve seen someone use it as storage was if it was broken and they didn’t bother fixing it. Oven too.
