Toys in the living room?

Does anything else have this issue? I can’t decide on if I want my daughters toy box in the living room or in her room. She already has one in her room & we have to just for all the little stuff she ends up dragging out we just throw it in there.

When I was growing up we had a playroom that all our toys stayed in. We were allowed to bring them out, but if we didn’t put them away when we were done they were donated. Maybe try something like that with the toy chest in the corner of the living room? We weren’t allowed to have toys in our bedrooms

If you are in the living rm for the most part , i’d just keep the toy box there

We have a little corner in the living room where we put a play rug down and on top of the play rug nearest to the corner of the wall, we have a bin for the toys downstairs. So my son plays with them downstairs and has the bin there to put his toys away when hes all done. It makes things easier than having to keep going up and down the stairs for certain toys. Just keep the favorites downstairs, have fun! 😊

We are getting ready to transition our 2.5 year old son to a full size bed (from crib).  I have most of his toys in a play area in basement and select few in our living room. We dont want any play items in his bedroom, to encourage staying in bed for sleep. Or at least thats my reasoning 😅

All my daughters toy stay in her room, she’s allowed to bring some to the living room but she has to clean them up and put them away. It’s pretty personal preference. She’s also 4 so she has that responsibility of cleaning up lol

My son brings all his toys from his room to the living room so he can play with them there. He has a toy box in both places. He prefers playing in the living room so he can be near everyone else.

My niece and nephew have a playroom at my parents house. It has all their toys and everything but then in the living room they have a corner of the living room that has her kitchen and doll house and my nephews lego stuff and hot wheel track because my parents are in the living room most of the time and they like to be in there with them.

My daughter is only 1 and her room is upstairs. So this is her corner of the living room... which has basically become her toy room. And even with all these toys, all she wants are the remotes to play with.

My son drags toys out throughout the day to play with in the livingroom, before bedtime we clean up and take them back to his room.
