Am I really the bad guy?

Question

So I don’t feed my dog “human food”. She only gets dog food and that is how I want it to be.
Now, I try to make this clear to other people, but they always end up calling me mean names, because I only feed my dog dog food. My bf even got into a small disagreement with his brother, because his brother feed my dog chicken, and I didn’t like that. His brother called us cruel. 
Is it true? Am I a bad dog owner, because I won’t feed her human food?

My dog has a sensitive stomach so she never gets people food. One time she had a bite of turkey and then puked for three days. She is happy as can be! Dogs don’t need human food to know you love them!
Then again, people would probably call me a “bad guy” because my pup isn’t allowed on any of the furniture! Lol

Nope your choice. I feed mine carrots and snap peas as treats since our vet recommended it. But no you're not cruel at all.

As long as you feed good quality dog food, then no, there's nothing wrong with it. I'm quite strict with what mine eat too..their own food contains all the nutrients they need to be healthy.
Although I do allow them meat and occasionally treats because there's no harm in it really.

Um... your dog will live a longer healthier life because of your "cruelty" so everyone else can shove their opinions. 
I used to know these two old ladies. They had an adorable yellow lab. He died at 5. Why? He never tasted dog food ever. They fed him on a diet of Big Macs and fries. Yep. That is all he ate. A lot of people tried to convince them to wean him off of human food, especially when he got sick, but they didn't want to be mean to him. After he died (and the vet explained why) they bought a new puppy. The first thing they did is buy him a McDonald's burger. Idiots.

It’s your dog, some dogs become horrible beggars if you feed them people food. It is normally its polite to ask first. I always ask before feeding any dog. I give our dogs people food occasionally. They’re old so I try not to give too often, some foods are too rich and make my dogs have diarrhea 😬

Nothing wrong with that BUT there are certain fruits & veggies that are good & tasty for dogs! And unseasoned chicken or turkey is also really good for them too! But no, you’re not a bad dog owner at all.

Pretty much all human food has too much salt and spices for dogs anyways. I make my dogs meat and rice sometimes to mix with their dry food as a treat.

As long as you get treats too, i personally would never see you as the bad guy. A lot of our human food is actually harmful to them.. I sometimes give a small piece of fruit to my fatass, but i first always check if its dangerous for her to eat it. Other than that.. I spoil mine with a lot of different dog treats 😂 ive got 4 boxes, 1 bag, and one cabinet full of em.. These are some of the things.. We can spoil our babies without needing human food to do so!

I dont have dogs but I do agree they shouldnt be fed people food. One of the reasons is when i do visit people who have dogs and they have been fed people food they tend to beg if we are eating and i cant stand that!
