Fly to Hawaii at 30-31 weeks?

Husband and I are ready to start trying! We have a trip to Hawaii (which we hope will be a babymoon) planned for Christmas this year. If we get pregnant this cycle, I’ll be around 30-31 weeks during the trip. Has anyone traveled that far at 30-31 weeks along? we are flying southwest, which allows pregnant women up to 38 weeks. 
The trip is broken up- flying Baltimore to Oakland, have a night in Oakland, then flying to Hawaii. Same for the flights home- it’s broken up with a night in Oakland. 
Just wondering if we should wait till next cycle or go for it. An early March baby would be optimal for time off for me since I’m a teacher!
Should add that we have trip insurance, should something go wrong!

Have fun! Should be fine, just check with your OB. There are hospitals in Hawaii so if you need to can go in to get checked .

I think you’re fine. It’s a long flight but 30-31 weeks isn’t so far along that the airline would care. Especially southwest. I’d do it.

I’d be worried that there’s nowhere to emergency land between California and Hawaii. Not that an emergency landing is ever a great option lol. Especially with a flight and overnight stay before the longer flight it could cause physical stress which isn’t ideal. If you have your trip covered through some insurance then you might be able to change the dates. It’s totally your call but I’d personally be nervous!

Some airlines won’t let you fly past a certain point in your pregnancy unless you have permission from your doctor. I would just do some research on the airlines. Good luck!

I was told the elevation can make you go into pre labor after 3rd trimester. Most airlines won’t let you fly if you’re that far along
