Breathing monitor?

Question

I already have the sense-U breathing monitor and I am 50/50 happy with it. I’m looking to buy another one that might work better and is more reliable. How is the owlet? That’s next on my list. What one do you recommend or what has worked well for you? 
FYI I am well aware of the false alarms and everything these things can give but to me a little peace of mind is better than none :)

I am in love with my owlet and the companion app that analyzes all the data is super cool. 
Owlet was easy to set up and use. I also work night shift so when I go back to work it will be nice to check on her during the night through the app. It has also made it easier to trust a babysitter for date night since I can check her heart rate and oxygen levels while I am away. 
Only downside is we were out of town the past two days and it requires WiFi to work so it does not travel well. Otherwise I am in love with it.

I have the owlet sock and camera and I love it! Gives me peace of mind knowing I can just check the app to see how he’s doing. I also put the sock on him during day time naps while I get stuff done around the house and shower. I would definitely recommend it. It’s pricey but so worth it!

I love our owlet. I use it more for sleep tracking than anything with my son, however it works well for everything it does. 
Also, if you have an FSA or HSA, they have it on the FSAstore.com. You can use flex spending to purchase. That’s how we got ours.

I love my owlet as well. I really debated on getting it while I was pregnant. But when my daughter was born at 5 1/2lbs and 18in long (and yes she was full term), I decided it was probably a good idea. She was so tiny that it made me nervous. 
Now...I will say this... make sure you put a sock over it to hold it in place. There are many things that can cause a false alarm, but the most common one is not having it on tight enough or having it slip out of place. A lot of people complain about that, but the truth is, even the hospital NICU grade monitors that some babies go home with are extremely sensitive and give false alarms too. My niece was sent home from the NICU with it for about 8-10wks and it was a pain in the ass with the false alarms. 
That being said, regardless of the complaints people have about the owlet, it has given us such peace of mind when she has it on. Going home from the hospital with a new baby is scary enough, but especially when they’re tiny. I can deal with a false alarm (although we’ve NEVER had one) over something awful happening in the middle of the night. It’s easily one of my top 3 purchases for my daughter. Worth every penny!

Owlet is amazing I love it! I’m able to sleep so much better I didn’t use it for the first few weeks cause I couldn’t figure it out but now that I know how to use it I love it! And use it every night
