Am I in labor?

Im 37 weeks today. I had sex about an hour ago. Now I’m having bad contractions which are about 3-5 minutes apart. They feel more like intense period cramps. I am able to talk through them, but I can’t move when they’re happening. (I haven’t lost my mucus plug, or water.)

Everytime I have sex the same thing happens and I am still pregnant

If they come every 5 minutes lasting for a whole minute and coming for an hour and they start to get more intense go get checked.

Having the same! Mine are 15 minutes apart however. I could talk through my contractions with my first pregnancy so I’m basing it more off of the 5-1-1 rule and if I can move or not before I try going in.

I went to the hospital because I was having contractions and I was 4.5 cm. They sent me home!!!

I’ve had this happen the past four times my husband and I have had sex. I have intense cramping that wraps around to my back and are difficult to talk through. Mine are inconsistent and go away after about 7 hours. It makes me not want to have sex even though my Doctor recommends it for starting contractions.
