Mine is Saturday and my mother in law planned it all and won't give me any details... I'm going crazy because what if i hate it???

I didn't want to plan my own shower, but here I am making all the arrangements. My in laws said they were throwing me a shower but haven't done anything and it's already less than a month away. I guess this way I can do things the way I want to but I really didn't want the stress.

My sister’s doing most of the organising, but I’m telling her what I want and what I like and she’s sharing so nothings a secret, just helps me stay calm not having to do everything but still getting the look I want 🙌🏻

Much prefer it! Surprises give me anxiety and we have very particular tastes so it’s just easier.

I don't have anyone else that would. I don't have any family except my bio-brother who lives 2,000 miles away, and my husband's parents live overseas. So if we want to have a party or baby shower, I would have to plan it myself.

For my first 11 years ago I planned it and my mom and MIL paid.  I'm trying to decide if I should even have another shower with my 3rd (a girl after 2 boys). I love party planning but I don't love the expense even though I'm good at budgeting.

My aunts are planning it and I’m soo grateful! I don’t like party planning. And I knew I wanted a baby shower but I also feel kind of embarrassed being the center of attention so having them plan it is perfect. I just helped with the guest list and party favors but I don’t know anything about the games or anything else they have planned. I will be very happy to participate in whatever they have planned!
