For the last two weeks I was really sick with constant fevers and fatigue. Then to top it all off, my tonsils had gotten super swollen and had white stuff on it. My mom was telling me I probably had mononucleosis, but I can’t be certain because my doctor can’t see me until later this week. When I went to an urgent care facility (twice for the fevers then tonsils) they told me I had gastroenteritis and allergies, which the allergies part I call bullshit tbh.

Does anyone have a similar experience and it did end up being mono; or am I just overreacting? I would like mention that I am much better now. Although my tonsils are a little puffy, the swelling has gotten down tremendously without any white spots.
