Anyone here tried IVF in Berlin or Europe to reduce cost?

My insurance does not cover any IVF costs- it’ll be around 20k. I’m looking at cheaper options. I saw that in Europe it’s about 5k. 
Any thoughts?

You should call CNY fertility in Syracuse or go to Barbados, they are the cheapest. A lots of us had success with Barbados fertility center.

We currently live in Denmark and had our IVF done here successfully. We had it covered by insurance, but my friend from the US chose to go to a private clinic here in Denmark, and was very very happy. Denmark is very progressive in this field, I would highly recommend! The starting price for my friend was about 3,000 euros, you can look up fertility clinics in Denmark, they have all information in English. In general, everybody speaks fantastic English, so you don't have to worry about the language barrier.

Idk but wouldn’t the cost of flying to Europe and spending money on a hotel cost just as much? Just a thought and I guess it depends on where specifically you go and where you fly from but we’re going to Paris in September and the flight from NY cost us almost $1,500 a person round trip.... and you’d be there for a while because of retrieval and then waiting the few days to see if they survive before they would put them in... is it worth it to go to a doctor you don’t trust to save just a little? I don’t have any experiences with IVF but I’ve heard horror stories from plastic surgeries gone wrong in South America and Mexico... 
Also.. my IVF with meds included they told me 12K-15k depending and that’s in Dallas, Texas so I’m sure you can find a cheaper doctor in the states that’s just as good

I don’t know anyone but as long as you see a reputable doctor, do extensive research I would think it’s the same as getting it done in the states.
