6 week old suddenly sleeping all day...

Hi all. I ama FTM so bear with me. My husband and a cold - coughing and sneezing...so we gave been keeping him far from our 6 week old and we are trying to be so careful. (Husband is even sleeping in the basement 😇). Today baby has been sleeping ALL day...we were up at 6:30 and he was awake but seemed tired all morning And wouldn’t nap, until suddenly at 9:30 he naps and next thing I do he is just eating every 2 hrs and then napping (but only briefly in bassinet, wants to be held instead or else fusses). This went on until 5 pm! He is awake now an hour later but seems tired...what’s the deal? Growth spurt happening? Early sign of the dreaded cold??
