Ladies help! Swollen sore feet! What can I do?

What can I do to help soothe my swollen sore feet? I have stuff to do around the house to get done in preparation for little girl but it hurts to stand on my feet :(
Not to mention my right hand feels super swollen as well and is causing numbness and tingling in my fingers, soo annoying. I can’t wait to pop!

Seems counterintuitive, but I’ve been told to make sure you are drinking plenty of fluids. Staying hydrated can help with swelling. As pp said tho, don’t over do it and put your feet up when you can.

Compression socks are the only relief I get along with wearing shoes with arch support. I struggle with drinking enough water, though I know it helps. Try to take breaks often if you can. I also sometimes will lay on the floor and prop my feet up on the wall for 15 to 20 minutes. It helps force the fluid back towards the rest of your body and was recommended by my doctor. There are also some exercise videos you could look into for pregnancy induced edema.

Unfortunately the only thing that’s makes the swelling go down for me is resting. My feet are always better in the morning since they have been up all night. But soaking in room temperature water feels soooo good. And I also have socks with ice packs that are nice.

Unfortunately you have to rest, put your feet up, and lay on your side as often as you can. Also limit your sodium intake and drink water like your life depends on it. The only time I’ve had swollen feet this whole pregnancy was when I worked a 15 hour day and then the following day I went to the movies and had a huge bucket of salty popcorn and Diet Pepsi. Huge mistake! Everything went back to normal when I rested for the rest of the day and drank TONS of water.
