My husband stays at home. He’s trying to get a mechanic shop opened in our large garage, but it’s slow going. My family hates that he’s at home and I’m working full-time to pay the bills, but I don’t mind one, teeny bit. We have started talking about where a baby will come into our lives, and we agree that we will get a savings account with a few months of bills for when I get too pregnant to function, and then he will be the parent at home. Naturally, we’ve had a lot of disgusting feedback on that idea too. What does everyone think?? Are we naive? Or is everyone else too old fashioned?
