So, busy day, I decide to take my evening OPK as we’re getting the kids ready... pee into a cup quickly (did NOT empty my bladder at all, literally just a quick little tbsp pee in a cup) dip my OPK, set my timer and walk away...

check in 5 mins and it’s positive.

Wonder why I’m ovulating on cd 12, so I go ahead and pee again, and dip another OPK. Negative. Take another OPK into the SAME sample, negative.

WHAT HAPPENED? Why did my first little tiny quick step aside and pee slightly into a cup OPK come back positive, but my last 2 out of basically the same 4 hour hold of my bladder come back negative?

Someone please clarify, this is the first time this has happened and literally the only time I’ve ever quickly peed about a tablespoon into a cup just to test, then went back and actually did it the way I always do.
