What did your doctor say

Question

I have serious baby fever 🤒 LO is 7 months. For people who got pregnant within the 1st yr postpartum did your doctor get mad or lecture you? When I first gave birth my doc said it’s recommended to wait 1-2 years.

I got pregnant on accident (I was on birth control) when my daughter was eight months old and then found out it was twins. So far the doctors have been pretty understanding but everyone has their own option on everything.
This pregnancy has been 100 percent better than my first and I gotta say I'm blessed for that.

I found out I was pregnant again at 9 months postpartum. I never heard anything about it.

I got pregnant 10 months postpartum and none of my doctors said anything bad about it... I can feel that my body is weaker though.

When I went to my 6 week pp check up my midwives gave me the go ahead. She said that some recent studies are showing that not everyone has to wait 12-18 months. I had an uncomplicated birth and am healthy. It also took us 6 years, 2 losses and a round of clomid to conceive our first. And I’ll be turning 35 this summer. I got pregnant again when my daughter was 6/7 months. We weren’t trying but not preventing. All my midwives are excited for me 🥰

I got pregnant unexpectedly at 5 months postpartum and my dr didn’t lecture me at all but it was a lot harder on my body... my first pregnancy was a breeze so if I had a choice I would have chosen to be at least 1 year postpartum. My second was also born early at 35w from placental abruption and I have my postpartum appointment tomorrow and I’m interested to see if the dr believes it’s due to close pregnancies because my first was born at 39+3.
