False positive—no one answered in other group

I had a positive FRER 7dpo and 8dpo so OB sent to have labs drawn but HCG is <1.2. He said it’s probably because we’re testing too early and retest with a digital on Friday (13dpo). Anyone ever have this happen? End up being pregnant?

Thanks. I’m such a basket case of emotions right now. I want my rainbow baby and I got so excited for the positive and now feel awful. It’s so hard to not put all your hopes in that little stick.
