Bacterial vaginosis but a VIRGIN

How??? I’ve had bacterial vaginnosis for about some years and just scared to go to the doctor w my mom it was embarrassing to me. But anyways I’m 19 and still have !!! I’ve tried home treatments and nothing ! So should I just have to suck it up and go to a doctor ? And if so can they cure the bacterial vaginosis? I don’t wanna he stuck w it forever.
