How swollen is too swollen?

Question

I know swelling in the feet and hands is normal for 3rd tri, but it’s also a sign of pre-eclampsia. How do I know when it’s beyond normal and I should ask the doctor about it? 
Check out the lines on my feet from my new sandals I bought trying to solve the fact that none of my shoes fit! 😅

I would be worried if it was accompanied by a headache, blurry/spotty vision, or really if you just felt off at all. Never hurts to call tho!

My first pregnancy I had normal swelling for a summer pregnancy, and then one day my feet were WAY bigger than they had been. Like shockingly large. I check my blood pressure at home and it had gone up too so I went in to the hospital and they checked for protein and determined I had preeclampsia. Had the babies 6 hours later. 
For me it was the sudden change that made me check my bp.
