Bedtime is like WW2

My almost 2 year old screams at bedtime EVERY SINGLE NIGHT .He will scream like this for 15-30 mins before falling asleep. It feels like hours ......I’m exhausted and trying not to lose my cool , how do I put a stop to this . I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong , we do the same routine over and over , and he will stilll scream bloody murder refusing to go to sleep. I cannot take it anymore , it’s so frustrating ! Ugh please tell me I’m not alone
