Men, or ladies with experience in this, have you ever had a breakup or break that caught you off guard? Did you end up with that person for life or walk away for good? I met someone a few years ago, we dated for 7 months and never had an actual fight. Most healthy, fun, and perfect relationship I've ever had. We fit perfectly and we were admired by our married friends who told us even at their best they didnt have what we had. Like a once in a lifetime kind of connection. Out of nowhere he gets all freaked out and wants a break. Isnt sure he is ready and gets down on himself thinking he doesnt deserve me. Of course I'm giving him the space he wants but, could this come back around and be a long term relationship or marriage? I was so sure I had met my life partner but I don't know if other people have thought the same and ended up with someone different? Help!
