Do you have access to your spouses phone or computer passcode?

I was just having a conversation with one of my friends about this. She has a boyfriend and they don’t have access to each other’s phones or computers, but she said even if they got married she would probably still keep them private. My husband and I do have access to each others phones and computers though. Just curious how others feel about this. Thanks for participating!

Yea we have each other's. Not to snoop,   or anything like that. If I want to watch Netflix and my laptop is downstairs I'm using his? If he's driving and wants a text sent or his music on, I'll be doing it.  It's not a big deal unless there's something to hide.

We don’t snoop through each other’s phones but we know each others passcodes so strangers can’t go in our phones.

He has mine and I have his, we don’t keep secrets from each other. That being said, we are both entitled to our own privacy and have not gone through each other’s technology.

Ugh... You should be able to trust your partner. If you feel the need to check up on what your partner is doing you have an unhealthy relationship.

Nah that’s their personal space and since we have a good marriage, we trust and respect each other. I’ve also got better things to do with my time. In some places, including where I live, reading someones correspondence without their permission in some cases can v illegal x

We don’t snoop, but it is to be courteous and also out of convenience if I want to grab pictures that he took off of his phone, to turn off his alarms while he’s sleeping, to answer text messages for him if he’s stepped away, etc.

Nope, I’m in a relationship with my boyfriend, we will be loving together soon, so that may change, but currently, I let him use my phone to search or do whatever on it but he won’t let me touch his .. if it’s unlocked he either breathing down my neck or holding it himself lol.. ion trip tho cause whatever is done behind closed doors gone come to light .. so

Yes. Not married but practically- been together 15 years. We trust each other. Neither of us need to snoop. We just know each others pw’s bc we know everything about each other and sometimes need to get into each other’s devices 🤷🏻‍♀️

That’s a hard no for us both and we’re married. Neither of us have trust issues to need to look through it. I don’t understand why so many people are okay with that. I think it shows insecurity.
