Chiropractor??

Question

Anyone seen the chiropractor while big and pregnant? I haven’t been in forever (due to being busy) but just scheduled an appointment for tomorrow (I’m 37 weeks). Any thoughts on it helping induce labor or make labor easier?

Have been seeing one for 8 weeks or so. Not sure it can bring labor on but she’s been working on my pelvis to create an optimal pushing situation.

I’ve been going every week since about 18 weeks. It completely eliminated the sciatic pain I was having and now it helps with my hips and pelvic pain. I’m a FTM and haven’t had my baby yet, so I have no personal experience to say it helped/eased labor, but the ladies at the office all say they get told by their pregnant patients that the chiropractic care made their labor much more bearable...so we’ll see!

I have been going every other week for my whole pregnancy. Makes a world of difference - I swear that it was being in alignment from regular chiro visits that made my 1st labour under 3 hours.

I've been going for 10 years and with my last pregnancy 2.5 years ago. I can say it helped with the delivery; I had him out in couple pushes..not sure if it was also because I was working out the entire pregnancy too...but I'm 36w2 now and I see the chiropractor every week but I totally stopped working out when I found out I was pregnant so we'll see about the delivery part..but overall I love getting adjusted

I started seeing a chiropractor for the first time about a month ago and WOW, it’s made a huge difference. I was hobbling around and they put my sacrum back where it should be. I feel great. I go every week now for labor prep and making sure all my bones are in the right place. Fingers crossed it helps with labor!
