Can anyone in the medical field help me?
I started my first day of an internship at the coroners office. So of course everyone is curious about things I’ve seen, what I did there, etc. It is pretty exciting stuff, I don’t blame them.
But I know there are certain things I can’t talk about. I know absolutely not to mention name, where the body came from, age, or other personal identification/medical records.
But can I talk about the state the body was in? Like if it was decomposed? Or if I went to a scene to pick up a body? Stuff like that.
I don’t want to violate the confidentiality agreement I signed and I definitely don’t want to get kicked out of the internship. I’ve tried looking up the rules but I’m lost on what to search for.
I also want to put out there that I would never post about this stuff on social media and if I talked about it it would be through word of mouth only.
Thanks if you can help me!
