13 month old doesn’t want milk

My almost 13 month old only wants milk about 1-2 times a day, whether it is directly from me or a sippy cup. Lately it’s been just once which is right when he wakes up. I try numerous times a day to nurse or give him a sippy cup with breast milk and/or cows milk. He almost always spits it out but when I give him water he gobbles it up. Is this normal? I’m worried he’s not getting enough nutrients that milk gives. I think my next step might be to try almond milk...
