Having Braxton Hicks but not feeling them?

Question

I went to a non stress test yesterday and apparently I’ve been having Braxton Hicks and not feeling or noticing anything. Since they pointed this out I’ve started to take notice to my stomach tightening and realized it’s happening pretty often. I have an appointment today with my OB and it’s the first time we will check to see if I’m dilated any.
I’m just curious has anyone else not noticed they were having contractions?

I've been having daily B/h since 20ish something weeks. I was never dilated or it never showed up on the u/s until I was 32 weeks. But I had also started feeling more intense b/h and cramping the night before I had my appointment. I was also thinning, had thinned to 2.2cm.

Last night I had Braxton hicks and a few days before...I don't know if it dilates you...I do know it's your body's way of preparing for labor
