Help opk please

So... I was about to run out of opk strips and glow estimated my ovulation for Friday, so I was going to get more today. I found one strip and tested at 7 p.m. and got a solid :-). I didn't test yesterday in order to not waste strips, can you have a solid Smiley for more than one day, I don't know how long I have been Peak. Is it a waste to try to inseminate this cycle?
