Traveling with a 9 month old
So we are going on vacation at the end of July. My daughter will be 9 months (2 weeks shy of 10 months) I need some advice on how to keep her entertained for a 10-12 hour car ride. She can’t hardly stand being in and out of the car all day to run errands (today was one of those days and by 6:00 and cried/screamed in the car for 45 minutes, until we got home because she didn’t want to be in the car seat anymore) as soon as we got home and she could play on the floor she was perfectly fine, so I’m really worried on how she will do for our trip. And what is the rule of thumb as far as traveling with a baby, I have heard it’s recommended to stop every 2 hours...is that true? My husband suggested we drive at night that way both kids would sleep the whole time but I’m worried about her sleeping that long in the car seat plus idk if she would even sleep her normal 10-12 hours...honestly don’t think that’s very safe for her to sleep that long in her seat...I suggestion we drive 4-5 hours the day before and then finish the rest the next day, I almost think this would be our best option but idk. I’m so worried about traveling with her...any advice would be great!
