Been ready for these weekly appointments for a while now...until I got into the room to get checked today. Due July 1st. They weighed me and once again I have lost weight, I haven’t been able to gain any weight this pregnancy which freaks me out since we lost my son last year at 17+1 ( I know we are in the clear but I still worry about her health). Nurse takes my blood pressure and it’s higher than it normally is not by too much but slightly elevated. So I start freaking out even more. Doctor finally comes in a little bit later to check on baby Alaska and I and give us the low down. She’s measuring 5lbs 11ozs and is “engaged” in my birth canal. Doctor told us she can come any day now but she didn’t check me to see if I’ve dilated any or not. Well my urine test that we do at all appointments came back with protein in my urine and 80 ketones (which is suppose to be negative) so now I’m freaking out that something is wrong. Ready to go back to the doctor already and find out what it all means and trying to stay calm. All the while dealing Braxtyn Hicks and trying to “take it easy”. Easier said than done.
