Has anyone named their kid after a favorite character from a show?

My boyfriend and wants to name our daughter after a GOT character. He also wants to name her after a character from his favorite Anime’s.

We were going to name our baby Dean if it was a boy, like Dean from Supernatural. It depends on the name. Sometimes TV and anime characters have very unique names that just seem out of place in the real world in my opinion.

My daughters name is Piper. Got it from "Charmed" and it was perfect because I wanted a "P" name. My son isn't named after a specific movie but His name is Pramir similar to a movie premiere lol My friend was on her way to see a movie premiere while we were trying to come up w names😂

We named our daughter Aria and people think we named her after Arya from GoT and even though that's not where her name came from, we're not mad about people thinking it after that one episode 😉

My husband and I agreed on naming a son Spencer Matthew after Spencer Reid on Criminal Minds who’s real name happens to be Matthew Gray Gubler
