Staying with SO’s parents while we wait for one of their rentals to open up July 1st (yes super close to and crazy but that way only one of our pay goes to rent and mostly groceries and the other’s salary goes to everything else) but I am almost at my last straw. Our diet is completely different from his parents. We try to get mostly organic and select our meats carefully (I.e. grass feed, no antibiotics or hormones) while they don’t really care so much about those things. Which is fine except for the fact that his mom has tons of rabbits and chickens and feels it’s ok to take out food and feed it to them. I don’t know if it’s the pregnancy hormones or just being super annoyed that someone feels it’s ok to feed their animals someone else’s food that does cost slightly more. Just needed to rant.

Oh and she keeps the heater on during the summer. I am a hot miserable mess. Grateful that they opened their house to us but definitely feeling the fact that it’s time for us to get into our own place. July can not come fast enough both to meet baby and for my sanity
