Who’s baby?

My husband and I have been trying for a baby and have been unsuccessful with this. We have decided to stop for a while. My best friend ends up getting pregnant... she is already a single mom of one. Isn’t unsure of what to do since it is only her providing for her first child. She is not financially ready for another child and could not digest abortion. She has another option and that is my husband and I adopting her baby. I am all for it but my husband is not. Would you do it? Do you think it will ruin our friendship?
