Long time endo warrior here. I know surgery sounds like a terrible thing. It truly is the only want to be diagnosed properly. I’m in support groups and see a specialist. Unless we are talking basic BC, which can be an issue in its own right because it can feed endo (estrogen makes it worse), the treatment of it is usually done with drugs like Lupron or Orlissa (basically peak Lupron). After even just a little research, I would never use either of the drugs but do use BC. There is no cure for endo so even if they found it through surgery, these are pretty much your options BUT I definitely would never do it without a formal diagnosis because why put that stuff into your body if it isn’t truly needed? Not worth it. I use CBD oil and try to stay away from inflammatory foods. Considering you don’t know if you even have it, attempt these things first. Endo effects everyone differently. Some of us have no issue with certain foods that are triggers for others. Some of us use CBD for pain management and others it does help. You could be stage one and have intense pain and/or be stage 4 with little pain. The surgery is also pretty mild and I highly recommend taking the proper channels to get a proper diagnosis.
