Apparently theres a higher risk of Listeria if you don't heat it up but I know a ton of people that ate deli meat their whole pregnancy and everything was fine🤷

I have been eating cold deli meat through most of my pregnancy and I have been just fine. It's just a higher risk of listeria, but most deli meat is okay.

I ate cold deli meat all throughout all 3 of my pregnancies and never had an issue. My dr said it’s one of the older things that used to be enforced a lot that really isn’t as big of a deal now.

Ive been eating subway sandwiches my whole pregnancy, but i have them microwave it or toast it just to try to warm it a little at least. I did the same with my first daughter also and both babies are fine. Never had a problem. If you dont feel 100% confident in it though, you dont have to eat it😊

How long were they sitting out? I wouldnt even with heating it up if it was more than hour since you dont know how long it was out before it got to your workplace. 
I also avoid all food like that when pregnant since idk if other people have touched it and I don't want to risk getting something and dont trust how long food sits out. 
And please dont listen to everyone else saying eating it cold is fine. There was recently a lunch meat listeria outbreak. It's still a very real risk.
