Having difficulty

Allison

Hi ladies! I’m currently 40 yrs old and hubby and I have been trying since my miscarriage in September to get pregnant again. Sadly, we’ve not had much success yet. I just had a bunch of fertility testing done and was told my AMH is low, my FSH is off, & I may have endometriosis. I was diagnosed last summer with Hashimoto’s and am also on blood pressure medicine. Is there anyone else who’s currently going through these struggles or who’s beat them and gone on to conceive successfully? Just trying to stay positive and it’s a challenge.

I have endometriosis as well and just started the IVF process in April. After my hysteroscopy & HSG along with DH’s SA my RE recommended IVF not IUI. It’s expensive and my health insurance doesn’t cover it so we are out of pocket scouting self pay discounts everywhere. The journey continues! I started stims for egg retrieval on 6/1. Menopur 300iu, omnitrope .25ml iu & gonal-F 300iu with injections in my abdomen. 1st IVF cycle TTC #1.Started everything on CD1. Had my 1st follicular ultrasound today & my labs & my estradiol / estrogen shows no big response so RE has instructed to move shots to my upper arm for the next 2 days. Hoping to see bigger response on CD6. OBGYN says it’s not a big Deal to move shots to the arm based on my age of 42 & my “higher” BMI so I’m trying not to sweat although I’m disappointed. Keep the faith!
