My daughter has lice and

My 8 year old daughter now has lice for the first time and I’m flippin out, I’m 25 weeks pregnant scared I’ll get it and have a mess of it, I cut her hair the other day and used my hair brush on her....I have not picked any bugs out of my hair but I’ve been on and off itching ...,my son who’s 3 has long hair I’m scared he will get it, I checked him so far nothing and they share a room...she’s had it for 2 weeks without me realizing it until I saw one crawling out of her hair today, I bagged and washed all I could, vacuumed, did a treatment and the evil shits were still alive after, her hairs so knitted up I can brush it, I threw away her good brush all I have is a comb, when I use the lice comb in the kit it doesn’t even brush the evil bugs out, I now have a prescription treatment and a bag on her head that I’m making her sleep with over night just to kill it, no idea what else to do, my heads been itching none stop 😞
