i don't work so i don't know what it's like for this to happen, but imagine being so hungry and you've been on the road and you need some thing to eat but the place you are going to is almost closed, i wouldn't be rude maybe a little frustrated, but you gotta see things from another POV

nothing gets me madder than when in mopping and i have to drag my ass up front for someone who wants to order 6 burgers at 8:45 pm 🙄

It depends on how much cleanup. I use to manage a sub shop, and we’d stop hot subs 30 minutes before close to give the grill time to cool, and 15 minutes before close, we’d only sell drinks and chips so the store could close properly
