If you arent careful, you can get pregnant really quickly. Its said that you are very fertile after delivery.

My husband and his sister are 11 months apart! Irish twins. My mil was told that since she was breastfeeding she couldn't get pregnant. Obviously this isn't true.

My husband and his brother are 13 months apart. Lol. Don't trust breastfeeding as birth control, don't have sex without a condom, unless you're trying for Irish twins.

It can happen very quickly - but it is hard on the body to have 2 so close together! As s nurse I've seen many women who are very uncomfortable during a quick consecutive pregnancy.

Your body is super sensitive and you can become pregnant as soon as you have sex. I know a few women (one being my aunt) that had sex before their post pardem check up and got pregnant. They tell you to wait 6 weeks because that's when they offer you the birth control options
