Checking cm help

Let me start by saying this is my first ttc.. and I wasnt sure how to cm I tried a few days ago and nothing. I thought I was doing it wrong.. any who tried again right now and had creamy egg white cm... another app told me I might be ovulating today.. but I've been irregular that past 2 months. s.o and I have been bd'ing since after last af 10th maybe not 3 days throughout that time... I'm guessing I might be ovulating??..I'm 2 days late....help...Am I ovulating. . I can't get and ovulation kit till tomorrow and if you all know I de rather.hold off on any tests due to the fact I've got a bfn today..
