Ladies, you know your own body, make sure your doctor understands that!! I just had an emergency d&c last night because of "retained products of conception." My original OB released 4wks after my c-section, even with me telling him something was not right. My PCP took 3 ultrasounds and I had 2 ER visits that showed "something" in my uterus and I was begging her to stop the constant pain & bleeding and she dismissed me 3wks ago. Finally, my newest OBGYN recognized immediately that I had a ton of decaying tissue in my uterus on Wednesday and I had surgery yesterday at 3:15pm. I will be filing complaints against both my former doctors as we are not sure if this has or will affect my future fertility, but it had caused me to be unable to enjoy and care for my newborn & 4yo. Not to mention I am seperated from my husband, so it has been doubly hard on me. Stand up for yourself!! You know when something is wrong!!
