How long did you have to stay in hospital after having a baby?

Just curious as last time I stayed for three days but that was due to having a blood transfusion and wondered how long you have to stay after a baby when there’s no issues?

I had a prem baby (36 weeks) and we were home the next day

I had 3 hour discharge after baby number 5 and I plan to have same again I hate staying longer than I have to the sooner I get home the better

I was induced on a Tuesday by 00.53 Thursday morning I had my LO then I got discharged at 2pm on Thursday. I could've stayed for a day but I wanted home. They need to do 6 hours(ish) checks to check your bp and how blood flow is etc and your LO to make sure they are feeding well and checks on their body etc. 
I guess it all depends on what the hospitals rules are.

I had to stay in for 3 days due to a blood transfusion too, I think a few of my friends only stayed a day max with no complications but everyone is different so it can vary

I was in for just one night after my section. First baby, planned section x

I had an emergency c section and stayed in one night. They wanted me in for another night but I was so done with the ward by then!

I was in for 4 hours after birth. Vaginal delivery with no complications. They only asked that I showered and had a wee before I was ok to leave.

I have haemorrhaged after all 4 previous labours and have been home the same day. 
Worst being my first born. I collapsed due to blood loss but wasn’t told I’d lost an abnormal amount. 
I was home about 7 hours after having her. 
Second was about 4 and a half hours after giving birth. 
And third, I gave birth at 2:58am. 
They wanted to discharge me by 10am but my way home was one of my birthing partners whom had gone home to get some sleep after being up all through the night with me. 
She was back with me at hospital by 2/3pm and hospital said yep, 10 minutes. Just getting doctor to sign discharge papers. 
🙄 didn’t get out till gone 8pm! 
My angel, I was out ASAP after giving birth to her. 
She was born sleeping around 10am. 
I was home by 7 or 8pm I think it was.
