So, my close friend her daughter caught TB at 1 years old around Christmas time. She was hospitalized for a few days and finally released and is taking antibiotics and seeing a specialist. My friend told me her x-rays are now clean and she only had to be on the antibiotics for 6 months and she's take 1 pill to make sure it doesn't come back.

I asked my doctor maybe 3 months ago and my doctor suggested she shouldn't be around my kids to be safe. I have a 9 and 2 yo and 9 month old. The little girl was around her pregnant aunt and now around the baby that's a month or so old. I haven't been around my friends daughter in a few months because I'm afraid and I dont want to offend her mentioning anything. What is everyone's thoughts or suggestions?
