So we went for out two week check up today and it wasn't very good news. My doctor told me my LO has a bit of jaundice, which we didn't know about, we were going home from hospital with all clear. My doctor wasn't happy with that, because jaundice mostly clear within the first two weeks. Also Anna is not gaining any weight, she had 3.22 kg when she was born, 2.86 when she was 4 days old and today at two weeks she is only 3.02 kg. The doctor thinks it may have something to do with the jaundice.. We're going for tests in hospital on Monday, hoping we gain a bit over the weekend.. I'm breast feeding so I'm obviously freaking out that I don't have enough milk.. She latches and feeds well, nappies are wet and dirty, she pukes a bit once in few feeds.. Any word of advice? Anybody had the same problem? Very freaked out first time mom here..
