Would you take a long road trip to the beach at 26 weeks pregnant?

So I plan on going to the beach in a few weeks.  I will be 26 weeks pregnant at the time.  I have no concerns actually going to the beach itself.  But the trip is about 5 hours away.  I’m VERY nervous about being so far away from my doctors in case of an emergency.  Would you do it?

Hubby and I are going on a weekend getaway and will be states away. I talked to my doctor before I agreed to the trip and he didn’t have any concerns as long as everything stayed normal at my appointments. I was given a copy of my medical records to take with me when I do travel just in case. 
I’m 31 weeks btw.

Yes! Go and have fun cause by 32 wks you’ll want to hide in a hole for the rest of your pregnancy 😂😭. Unless thats just me. 35 wks and holy hell

I went to the beach 11 hours away lol everything was just fine

I tried it with my son, only two hours and got so car sick (which never happens) I hated every moment of it. If you go just make sure you take precautions for car sickness, aching back, snacks and water

We took a 17hr road trip when I was 7 months pregnant.

I plan on going to the beach in September and I’ll be 28 weeks.... it’ll be a 14 hour drive!!
I’d say if you doctor thinks it’s fine then go for it!!☺️

I’m going on a beach vacation 5 hours away at 29 weeks and not at all worried.

As long as your doctor says you are good to travel - go for it!   With pregnancy #1 and #2 we drove to south Florida from the twin cities of mn.  Totally doable!  Make sure you keep drinking enough water and get up and move around when you get the chance but otherwise enjoy your trip!
