First midwife appointment

Was great to meet the team who will assist me through this pregnancy. Everyone was so nice and helpful and I feel like I’m in great hands. Also got to hear baby’s heartbeat again - which is always a welcoming sound. Got all my questions answered, learnt some new thing and got s goodie bag of baby items (gels, lotions, creams). I was surprised that I need to take the glucose test earlier because I’m African (that’s what she said) but I’m not too concerned. All around great morning.
