Coming home outfit?

I never bought a specific coming home outfit for my baby - and now it seems pointless honestly.. I have more than enough clothes for her and let’s be honest, newborn babies are cute in whatever outfit lol. 
But what do I bring her home IN?? I have all the different things. Onesies, outfits, sleepers with feet, etc etc. I live in Texas so it’ll be HOT, but obviously she’ll be indoors except for the short excursion to the car, in the parking lot of the hospital. 
What is appropriate weather wise? What will be comfy? Any input is appreciated 😄

I made this for my girl due July 4th! We are in the midwest so we're most likely looking at humid, 100° weather. I do have some pants and a long sleeve top packed as well, just in case. But I'm thinking a blanket in the air conditioned car should keep her warm enough without overheating. Not sure that the hat will be neccessary but I wanted to make one 🤣

I’m doing a little short sleeve romper which is basically a onesie except part of her thighs are covered for the bar seat strap. Plus a pair of socks and light blanket for the car ride.

Onesie, bow, mittens (my first scratched himself from day one, I am bringing a light blanket for pictures / to cover her in the car from the ac, I've packed extra onsie light pants and socks just incase although I dont think well keep the AC on full blast. We are in West TX due July 8th!

I’m just putting a cute onesie on, tbh we’ll most likely both be so tired and no one will see us in the car going home anyway 😅 saving the cute stuff for when we’re not recovering!
