My inhaler tastes disgusting

I just got a new inhaler. I’ve needed them my whole life and the one I just got and opened and used tastes freaking horrible. Not that I’m trying to taste it, but it goes into your mouth and god wow. It works to get me breathe but good god. It’s exactly the same brand and everything. I think it’s old, it’s more powdery. It just tastes like it’s rotten. Something is definitely funky about it.

Can I call the pharmacy and get a new one? I have to wait until I am able to fill a new one otherwise I can’t just go get another one. I also pay for them and have to budget it out so even if I could I couldn’t afford it. What can I do about this? Should I call my doctor or the pharmacy? I’ve never had something wrong with an inhaler before.
